Is it just me, or does more spam blogs seem to be appearing in the tag surfer lately? WordPress.com admins, please fix this.

Did you submit a feedback? Did you report these spam blogs?

Yup, every spam post I get I file a spam report. It’s the least I can do to help.

The problem also seems to be fixed now. Thanks wordpress.com admins! 🙂

Best bet in all honesty is to keep a list of URLs that you report. It’s been known that they occasionally miss a report or it takes a few days for them to play catch up.

I had one that took 2 weeks to get deleted.

Actually, WordPress has been very good with spam so far. Any spam I’ve reported usually gets cleaned up within a 3 day period.

I only posted this because it was starting to happen way more frequently than usual and was wondering if anyone else was starting to get the same problem with the tag surfer. It probably wasn’t the best thing to do in retrospect, but the problem got fixed and I learned a lesson out of it.

I agree, there has been a lot of spam blogs lately, especially porn.

What really sucks is finding them in the tag surfer.
